Biographical Info

As the Director of Orange County Teen Challenge, Tim oversees daily operations of the Timothy House adolescent home, the adult men’s recovery home, a large neighborhood outreach and learning center, and a transitional home for Teen Challenge graduates.

Tim knows what it is to have a troubled boyhood. He emigrated with his family from Seoul, Korea to Los Angeles when he was seven years old and at a young age, became involved with gangs, drugs and crime. He came to know the Lord in 1995, after which he entered Teen Challenge and graduated one year later, stepping into a new life free of addiction and other controlling influences.

Tim has been on staff with Orange County Teen Challenge since 2002, before which he worked at Teen Challenge Hawaii for three and one-half years. Tim is a graduate of Teen Challenge Ministry Institute and a certified minister with the Assemblies of God.
