Teen Challenge of Southern California

teen-challenge-logoIn 1963, a handful of pastors became gripped with the desire to see a Teen Challenge presence be established in Southern California. Since then, TCSC has been helping those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol find freedom in Jesus Christ. Men, women and youth have come to us from all walks of life, looking for a way to put their lives back together and find freedom from addiction.

In the past five decades, thousands of lives have been changed at Teen Challenge. Our students learn that God has a plan and a purpose for their lives. They learn that through Christ, the chains of addiction can be broken and lives can be restored.

Here are three instances of how God has used Teen Challenge to radically change broken lives:

From a Parent:

  • “To All The Precious Hearts At Teen Challenge, Thank you for Christ in you, for Him working through you, and His saving grace that has broken the chains of bondage and set our son free. This is truly a Christmas miracle, that our family celebrates as a birthday, not only that of our dear Savior, but also that of a new life for our son. This is his second Christmas without fear and worry, without hate and disappointment in the world, another day without drugs. Praise God and thank you Teen Challenge for the work that you do and the love that you freely give. We pray for you and all those entrusted in your care.”

From a Community Member:

  • “Thank you for all you do for those whom God puts in your care. We have seen the miraculous results of two of your students who have been delivered from drugs and alcohol. They are truly a blessing to all around them. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you in this way.”

From a Student:

  • “If it weren’t for Teen Challenge, I’d be dead or in prison without any hope. Teen Challenge has given me hope and freedom through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…Thank you, God, for saving my life. Praise God for Teen Challenge.”
